Our visit with Uncle and Aunt Kim

We had family come in from Colorado a few weeks ago and had a great time. We warned them that our house is a zoo but that's what happens with kids. We had been bugging them for a while to come to Utah and visit us. Uncle was going to fly his plane here, but due to the weather they had to drive.

Fun time playing cards

They were here for our anniversary so we decided to get a babysitter and went to Park City. Dan and Mike did the zip line. Kim and I didn't think we could do it because of our shoes but learned later we could of. Us girls just sat and chatted while waiting for the boys.

Dan won!!! It's about time someone beat Mike at something!!

After the zip line, we went shopping down Main Street. We found this purple store so we had to get our picture taken by it since it's our favorite color!!
Main street sure has changed since the last time I was there. There are alot more art galleries then before. We had alot of fun shopping and later they treated us to dinner. It was so nice just to sit and visit and not have to worry about kids running around.
Before they left, they came with us to take Kaiden to his first day of preschool. I thought that was so thoughtful of them. We are so glad they came to visit us!! I hope they come again soon!!

The State Fair

We decided to give in and take the kids to the state fair. Kaiden had been bugging us for a couple of days to take him and we just hate going because 10 years ago when we went it was so dirty. I swore to myself I would never go again. This year it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The kids loved seeing all the animals.
Kaiden was so excited to ride the pony's. He only lasted about one minute because his pony sneezed and scared him.

This bird was Rykers favorite. He couldn't spot staring at it. It is a little funny looking!

Kaiden and Mike played a basketball game. He made a basket and won a crayon. All the games were definitely a rip off.

Their ride on the faris wheel

I didn't think Kaiden would go down this but he did. He had so much fun he made dad take him again!

Kaiden's first day of preschool

What a eventful morning! I thought Kaiden would be really excited to go to school but he wasn't. I had him in summer school in June and the first day he was so excited. After that, he cried every morning I dropped him off. It was about 20 minutes from our house and he thought I was going to leave him there.
His preschool is only two houses down from ours so I thought he would be more comfortable with it since it's close to home. But I was wrong. He cried when he woke up and told us he didn't want to go. Once we got him there, he was fine. He learned to do yoga using a balloon, the shape of a heart and the color red. When we picked him up he said he had fun but he didn't want to go to school anymore.
This week is his second week. He still cries but it keeps getting less and less. He has made some fun projects and met some nice friends. He tells me all the time he wants teacher Becky to move to the mountains so he doesn't have to go. He also tells me she is sick and he can't go if she is sick. He cracks me up.
I think it's going to take some time for him to get use to it and once he does, he will be excited to go. I really can't believe he is in preschool. He is growing up to fast.

Catching up from June

Kaiden and Ryker taking a nap.

Carlys high school graduation. I never wanted this day to come because I knew when she graduated I would be 30 and 30 has always seemed to be so old to me. I have always said Carly should of been mine. When she was born I loved to take care of her. When my mom would run outside to get the mail I would hurry and paint her nails and get in trouble for it. Also when she was a couple of weeks old I curled her hair. My mom was so mad at me. I was the only one that could calm her down when she was upset as a baby. When she was in kindergarten and I was a senior I would pick her up from school everyday. We both are so much alike it's crazy. She is such a sweet girl!!

I made her smile for this picture. She usually does some kind of funny face!

Ryker and Harlee's blessing day!

Uncle Mike gave them both a amazing blessing!

After the blessing, we had everyone over to Mindy's house for a luncheon.

Ryker and Harlee with great grandparents

It was a long day and when we got home both of the boys feel asleep next to each other.

This was Rykers first time staying in a hotel. He was only three weeks old and we decided to take a road trip to grammy and papa's. We drove to Green River and stayed the night and got up the next morning and headed to Colorado.

Kaiden and grammy reading books. He had to have his reading glasses on like grammy!

The boys with their great-grammy. They are so lucky to have four great-grandparents!!

The boys with their grammy and papa!

Grammy and papa had the family over to see us. This is Aunt Kim and Aunt Chrissy with Ryker.

Bed time!!!

Grandma day! We look forward to this day every Wednesday!

Ryker at one month. I can't believe how fast time goes by.

My friends and I at my 30th birthday party. I have never wanted to be 30 and I told Mike and my mom they better not plan a party for me but they did anyway. It was a total surprise. My dad barbecued at their house for about 20 of my friends and a ton of kids. My mom and Mike fixed some side dishes and they had me a purple cake. It was alot of fun and I am glad they did it even though I could have killed them both!!

This picture is of Carrie, me and my mom. I have known Carrie forever. She works with my dad and when I worked at the furniture store her and I became really close friends. I call her my second mom!

Grandma and Kaiden playing in a box. This kept him entertained forever!

Papa is supposed to be watching Kaiden. I think it's opposite!!

Kaiden loves going for bike rides with papa. Every time we go over there, Kaiden has to take his bike. When I was a kid, my dad always took me with him.

Every Monday I would take Kaiden to a different pool with some friends. At first I was nerves with him and a baby but we all took turns with watching the kids in the pool and the babies in the stroller. I figured if I could do that I could do anything!

Grandma day again!

The boys taking a nap. So sweet!!

Our June trip to Bear Lake

One month old today

I can't believe our baby is already a month old. Time sure does fly by. Ryker, you are such a good baby. You are starting to stay awake more often now. The only time you really cry is when you are hungry or have a belly ache. I'm starting to think your fussy time is between 2-5 am. Other then that you are very content. We just took you on your first road trip to Colorado to see grammy and papa and you slept all the way except to eat. Your big brother loves to give you smoochies and sing to you. When you hear his voice you always turn your head to find him. You are a very strong boy and try to hold your head up.
You are such a precious little boy and bring such joy and happiness to our family. We love you very much!
