Kaidens preschool Halloween party

First thing teacher Becky does is Yoga with the kids. It gets most of their wiggles out.

They played musical feet

Made pumpkins out of milk jugs

Wrapped them up as mummy's

Kaiden showing his spider he took for show-in-tell

What a fun day. I volunteered at Kaidens class for his Halloween party. I wasn't going to help out at first because Kaiden finally stopped crying when he goes and I didn't want him to start again knowing that I was staying that day and that was it. He has the cutest preschool teacher. First thing the did was yoga. Then she picked one kid to help her point to the days on the calendar and be the leader for the songs. She sang color, number and letter songs. Kaiden wasn't to interest at first. He just cried because he thought I was going to leave. Then he was fine. Then she went over the letter of the week which was "H". After that, she let them decorate pumpkins and for a snack made fingers out of string cheese and gum drops. She also made them Frankenstein jello. She put green jello in clear cups and drew his face on the cup and topped it with crushed up oreos for the hair. Then she froze half of a banana on a Popsicle stick and put white frosting on them and let them decorate them with m&m's gummy bears and sprinkles. They were supposed to look like ghosts. Then she wrapped their arms up in toilet paper to look like mummy's and she hid little toy skeletons in the paper. They got to play some games and then they got to show the class their favorite Halloween toy. Kaiden took his spider he got in his happy meal from grammy.
His teacher is so organized and does so many fun things with them. I had alot of fun helping out but I have no clue how she has so much patients for eight 4 year olds. I know I couldn't do it.

Grammy and Kaiden

Grammy and Papa came into town for a few days so papa could work. Grammy stayed with us while papa stayed at the hotel. She bought Kaiden a haunted house to decorate. They had so much fun and it turned out really cute. We were glad they got to come see us for a few days!!

Kaiden and his cousins making Halloween place mats.

Every year my grandparents have a halloween party for the family. Everybody brings a soup to share, a game for the kids and treats. This year I was going to make tomato soup but when I looked at the directions I wasn't about to make it. You had to roast the tomatoes to a certain temperature and them puree them. So I decided to go to Paradise Bakery and buy their tomato soup. It was alot easier. We always look forward to my grandparents holiday parties even though it's gets a little crazy with all the kids.

Pumpkin Patch

YAY!! We finally made it to the pumpkin patch this year! Last year was the first year we didn't go. Everytime we thought about going it snowed and we didn't want to get in the mud. Kaiden has been asking us for awhile if we could go and I told him we would go when he got out of school on Thursday. He picked out him and Ryker a pumpkin. His pumpkin is the smallest which surprised me because he'd been telling us he was going to pick out a big one for him and a tiny one for Ryker.

Trying to find daddy a pumpkin

This is the one he chose. He was so excited!

He helped dad load the pumpkins in the wheelbarrow and sat in it while dad pushed it.

When we got home, Kaiden unloaded all the pumpkins and set them on our porch. For some reason he stuck his by the rain gutter on the sidewalk and told us to leave it there. I thought he would of moved it by now but it's still sitting there.
I love this time of the year and even more I love to see my kids get so excited for the holidays. Kaiden helped me get out all our Halloween decorations last week. We even decorated his room! Now he tells me he is ready to put all the decorations back and get out the Christmas stuff. Oh, and we have been watching Christmas movies for the last two day. That's all he wants to watch.
Happy kids happy mom right??!!

Two cute boys!

I had to put this picture on here because every morning Kaiden wakes up he wants him and Ryker to wear matching outfits. Kaiden picked out both of these outfits the other day. I think it is so cute how he wants them to wear the same thing. We are so lucky to have two sweet boys!!

Kaiden's first duck hunt

Mike called me from work on Monday and told me to dress Kaiden warm because he was taking him duck hunting with a friend and his son. At first I told him no. I thought he was to young to go and it was to cold. I also worry about him being around guns. But Mike talked me into it. He had went and bought them matching shirts. Kaiden was so excited to go! But the trip didn't turn out the way Mike wanted it to go. He had to carry Kaiden 2 1/2 miles plus all his stuff to were they wanted to hunt. Then it was to cold and Kaiden coughed the whole time, whined and ran a fever. Mike felt really bad that he got cold and sick and wished he wouldn't have taken him. Kaiden was up all night not feeling good and the first thing he said when he got up in the morning was he wanted to go hunting. Mike plans on taking him again when it's better weather!

Our Sand Dune Trip

Corey and Tarah

Corey wanted all the family to go to the Sand Dunes for his birthday. He wanted to go on Saturday and come home on Sunday. It's about a 2 1/2 hour drive from our home and we didn't know if it was worth it to pack up the trailor and drive that far for one night. But we did and it was worth it. We rode the bikes all day and part of the night. The only bad thing was Kaiden got sick in the middle of the night and was up all night throwing up. He had the stomach flu. For those of you who have been there, you also know you don't get any sleep. You can hear people riding all night long.

Carly taking Kaiden for a ride!

Yes, this is my 55 year old dad. He still thinks he is 20 and rides like he is!!

Papa taking Kaiden for a ride on his dirt bike.

This is sand mountain. Everybody races up this hill. It is very steep. Kaiden wanted to go up it but I won't let him. You have to go way fast to get up it.

Corey took my mom up sand mountain. She said it was scary but alot of fun!

This is all Ryker did. He is so good!
