St. George trip

What a fun trip! We had some friends ask us to down to St. George last week for a golf tournament. The husbands let us girls go down a day early without kids! We had a great time shopping, and laying out in the sun.
When the guys and the kids got down there, we took the kids out to do alot of fun things. This was one. We hiked through the Narrows. It was really pretty. I wish I could of done some more but being 7 months pregnant, it wasn't going to happen.

This is a picture of one of the little caves the kids found.
I thought this was a funny picture so I had to post it!

Mike caught a lizard and was showing it to the kids. When he let it go, it ran right under Kaiden's feet and scared him.

This was taken at the Mexican restaurant we ate at.

One of the days we were there, we took the kids to the dinosaur museum. The footprint is of a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

The guide was showing Kaiden the different dinosaur prints in this rock. I think it was the only time he really paid attention.

One night we took the kids to a Pirate Pizza place. It was really neat.

Yay!! Kaiden is finally tall enough to ride a ride.

We took the kids to Fiesta Fun to ride the rides and play video games. Kaiden drove the car all by himself!

The day the guys went and played golf, Megan and I decided to take the kids to the pool. It wasn't warm enough to go in the outside pool, so we stayed in the inside one. It was still fun.
My favorite part of the trip was going to get frozen yogurt. I know, what a shocker!! It was so good!

Grandma Day

Today was grandma day! We always look forward to going over to my grandparents on Wednesday. When we pulled up Kaiden was so excited to see the bunny. He ran right to it and said,"Mom take my picture by the bunny!" They always go all out with the decorations inside and outside of their house.
My grandma fixed us sandwiches for lunch and then she bought Kaiden the Princess and the Frog dvd, so we watched that. It's really a cute show. Then grandpa took Kaiden outside to drive his remote control cars. They had so much fun!

Happy St. Paticks Day!

A little Leprechaun came to our house this morning and left Kaiden a little four leaf clover trail to find his pot of gold!

He left him a coloring book, crayons, green gum, skittles,
and of course a tractor. Kaiden was so happy! Then he tried to find the leprechaun but couldn't find him. I told him he is sneaky and really fast!

My grandma is watching Kaiden for me today because I am headed down to St. George. So I wanted to fix them a St. Patricks Day lunch. I found this idea on the internet and thought it would be fun for them. The stuff that's in the pot is yellow jello and I also make four leaf clover sugar cookies and sprite to drink.

Easter Bunny/Park Day

Kaiden has been bugging me for a week to take him to see the Easter Bunny. I had to go buy him some sandals today so I figured I would take him. He kept asking me were the bunny keeps his eggs and I told him to ask. So he did and the bunny didn't say anything. Kaiden was mad that he didn't talk! He did tell the bunny he wanted tractors in his easter basket.
Given the bunny "MOOCHES"

The bunny gave him these cute ears to wear and he kept them on the whole time we were shopping.

After we were done shopping, Kaiden asked if we could go to the park. It was such a nice day, we picked up some lunch and had a picnic at the park and then played. We both had alot of fun!

YAY!!!! NO MORE MIMI"S

Yes, we finally got rid of Kaidens mimi (Binky). I never thought that day would come. In order for him to take a nap or sleep at night he had to have it. Oh, and also in the car. If he didn't have it, he would throw a fit. Thursday night he bit the tip of one of them off so I told him he had to throw it away. I gave him another one and told him it was his last one and he didn't have anymore left. Friday morning we were in the car and he asked for it and my mom gave it to him and told him not to bite it because he didn't have anymore left. Well, he did bite the tip of it and my mom had him through it away. He tried to fix it, but it didn't work. He wouldn't take a nap Friday because he didn't have it. I thought great, this next week is going to be terrible. But it actually hasn't been to bad. He's only asked for it when he takes a nap and goes to bed and we tell him he broke them so we had to throw them all away. That is all it takes and he goes to sleep. I am glad we didn't cut him off cold turkey. I am glad we had a reason and he understands! We tell him he is a big boy and big boy's don't need mimi's.

Our home away from home

Since today has been such a nice day, I started getting spring fever. Spring and summer are my favorite time of year! I love the warm air. This last week, Kaiden has asked me every night to tell him a camping story. He loves going camping and I think he knows when it starts getting warm that is when we get to go. When we bought our trailor 2 years ago we had a few friends give us crap about it and told us we were wasting our money and we would never use it. Well, they were wrong. The first year we bought it, we used it 12 weeks out of the year and last year was probably longer. We used it one week in Flaming Geroge and drove straight to Bear Lake and stayed in it for 2 weeks. The funny thing is, the friends that were telling us we were crazy all have trailors now!!
I have so many fun childhood memories from our camping trips that I wanted Kaiden to have the same. He loves it. He likes to get dirty, fish and go four-wheeling. What more could a little boy ask for??
So, now that it's a nice day, I am ready to take off and go camping!! We already booked our first trip the end of April. We are looking forward to it!!
