Easter Pictures Finally!

So I am a little behind with the Easter pictures but oh well. We had a fun Easter. Kaiden got up and the first thing he said was "Easter Bunny." We told him he came and hid his basket so he had to find it. He found it behind the couch. Of course he wanted to eat the candy first thing and I let him because it was Easter. Then we had my parents over for breakfast because it was also my dads birthday. Later on we went to my parents house and my mom had all the grandkids dye eggs. They had so much fun. Both sets of grandparents came over and had dinner with us. It was nice to see them and spend some time with them. After that, my mom planned a Easter Egg hunt for the grandkids. I was like oh great more candy!! But instead of putting candy in the eggs she filled them up with crackers. I thought that was a great idea. She also had balls, bubbbles, coloring books, crayons and outfits. She always comes up with the cutest ideas for the kids. They had a blast!!

I am so lucky to have such an amazing mom. She is so caring, loving, kind, and ALWAYS thinking of others. She has always been so supportive in whatever decisions we have made. She always takes such good care of all of us. She always knows how to turn our fronds upside down :0)! She sets such a great example to all of us. Thanks for everything you do for our family. We are so lucky to have a the BEST mom!

Kaiden's new shoes

Yesterday I took Kaiden to Payless to buy some sandals. I got to the isle were his size was and had him sit down. I found some cute brown sandals, tried them on and they fit. So I told him to walk around in them and the first thing he saw when he sat up was princess sandal. Oh, was he in love. He took the brown ones off, grabbed the princess ones and put them on. I told them they were for girls but he didn't seem to care. So I tried to get him to but on the Car sandals and he didn't want anything to do with them. Everytime I would try to take them off his feet he would through a fit. All he wanted was the princess ones. So I put the brown ones back in the box and turned around and he had ripped the tags off the princess shoes. The people in the store couldn't get over how cute he was and how funny he was about those shoes. I thought if that was your kid you wouldn't think it was to funny. Needless to say I bought the damn shoes and he wore them out of the store as happy as can be.
The story doesn't end there. Then we go to Target to get him some pajamas and what does he find? The pink princess night gown. I said ok Kaiden that's were we draw the line. No more princess anything.
He hangs around Sisi way to much which isn't a bad thing but she is so girly. When I have told people about the story they said does Mike know? He is out of town and when I called him to tell him he said you didn't buy them for him did you. I said I had to because he ripped the tags off and through a fit and sometimes it's not worth fighting over.
Then when grandpa Jim got home last night he saw them and said I can't believe you bought those. I said (Jim's going to probably kill me for posting this) if you can have pedicures and your toes painted, Kaiden can have princess shoes and he just laughed!!!

Happy Birthday Dad!

55 and still out of control!!! Let me explain why. Friday night I was at there house and it was about 10:30. My dad said I need to come get my CD out of your truck. So I got in, turned the truck on and he grabbed his CD. He asked me if I had listened to it and I said no. So he puts it in the CD player, cranks up the radio almost all the way up and he starts dancing in the midddle of the street to Play that Funky Music. Oh my heck, I was laughing so hard I was crying. Then Carly starts dancing. I thought they would stop but they just kept on going. It was so funny. I'm sure the neighbors were thinking, what are they doing. There's never a dull moment with him.
My dad is the most funniest, outgoing, caring, patient person I know. These are just a few things why my dad is who he is.
1. He helps more people out than anyone I know.
2. He can make a angry customer happy, and when they leave they buy more furniture.
3. Family comes first to him!!
4. He always makes us laugh :0)
5. He never says anything negative it's always positive!
6. He always likes to have a good time!
I could honestly go on and on and tell a alot of stories but I will just leave it at that. Happy Birthday Dad! Thanks for all you do for us. We love you very much!!

Easter Egg Hunt

Last Sunday my Aunt Penny had us all of us over for dinner and a Easter Egg Hunt. We did the hunt before we ate because it was getting cold. So of course the kids wanted to eat the candy instead of their dinner. Kaiden had so much fun playing with all his cousins.

Thursday

On Thursday morning Kaiden came into our room and had goggles on and said he wanted to go swimming. I told him we couldn't go swimming but I would take him to play on all the blow up toys. So Mindy and I took the kids to Jumping Jacks. They had so much fun. So did Mindy, Mike and I!! We went down slides, did relay races etc. It wore out the kids but I think it really wore us out the most.

OUCH!!

Kaiden was playing in our backyard with his cousins and they were running on the basketball court and of course Kaiden fell. This is nothing new. I swear that kid is accident prone. My dad keeps telling me we need to make him wear a helmet at all times.
