Hawaii Pictures

Hawaii

For those of you who didn't know, Mike and I just got back from Hawaii. My sister-in-law Brittney got married there last week.
My parents watched Kaiden for the first five days then left on a cruise so my grandma took him the next four days. Everyone said he was really good for them. Every time Mike and I would call him, he wouldn't talk to us or he just wanted to talk to Papa. I think he was a little mad.
We had so much fun. Mike got to golf with the guys while us girls laid out at the pool. I also planned a surprise shower for Britt and that turned out nice. Thanks to Bettie, Kim and Kym for all your help with that. We also did some shopping and some went snorkeling. It was so nice spending time with all of the family. They're so much fun to be around and so funny!!
The wedding turned out amazing. Jim and Kym did a wonderful job planning everything. It couldn't have turned out any better!! Britt looked gorgeous. We are so excited for them. They both seem so happy and in love.
Thanks to all the family for the cherish able memories and hopefully we can all do this again!! We love you all!!

Our welcome home presents

When Mike and I got back from Hawaii, my grandma and Kaiden had decorated the whole house in Valentines. It was sure cute and nice of them. We were so excited to see everyone especially Kaiden. He's the only reason we wanted to come back. Who would want to leave 80 degree weather and paradise?

Cheetos and Cool Whip

Last Wednesday Kaiden had a late nap and woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Mike and I tried everything to make him happy but it didn't work. So I set him on the counter and pulled out a bottle of cool whip. I sprayed it on his finger and in his mouth. He thought it was so funny. Then he wanted me to spray it on Mike's hand so he could eat it to. There was a bag of Cheetos sitting on the counter so Kaiden got them out and wanted me to put the cool whip on the cheetos. He loved it. We sat there for about 30 minutes and ate cheetos and cool whip. It's amazing the little things that make kids so happy. After that he was good for the rest of the night!!

Sister Wanted!!

Yesterday morning Kaiden kept saying something over and over again but I didn't know exactly what he was trying to say. Then he said "Carson sister". So I said yes Carson has a sister and he said yes. So I said does Kaiden want a sister? He said yes and got all excited. I said you really want a sister and he kept saying yes. I asked him if he wanted a brother but he said no. I said what do you want to name your sister and he said Kelcee.
My cousin's name is Kelcee and her and Carly are the same age and are really close. Kaiden loves her. She is so cute and fun to be around. I just thought it was so funny how all of the sudden he is asking for a sister.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What a fun night! Mike and I decided to have a New Years Eve party at the last minute. It started out with 4 couples and ended up with eleven couples. Oh and 5 billion kids!! We had a blast. All the older kids played the Wii while all the little ones ran around and played toys. Oh and thanks to Amber who gave them whistles at 10:00, they ran around blowing them all night. All the adults sat around and visited, ate, drank, played pool and poker. I don't think it gets any better than that! I think everyone had a great time. Thanks everyone for coming!!!
(Most of our pictures didn't turn out, so here were a few that did.)

Happy Birthday Grandpa Jim!!

Your such a good example
of what a grandpa should be
We always get along so well
even when I'm angry.

Your so patient
and understanding
your so quick to give.

How lucky I am to
have a grandpa like you
someone who takes an
interest in all that I do.

You have a good heart
and your honest and true
You are the best grandpa
and I really love you!!!

Happy Birthday Papa!!

Love,
Kaiden
